Abstract

During the week of Oct. 17-21, 2016 The I Will Graduate Committee hosted a “College Success Week” offering a multitude of activities for students to attend. These activities focused on providing students opportunities to learn about programs, strategies, and information from instructors as well as current and former EMCC students to assist them in developing strategies to be successful college students. Students were given a survey at the end of each activity to determine if the activity had a positive impact on students perceived outcomes of retention, persistence, and completion. Our results demonstrate effective and engaging programs. However, there is room for improvement for October 2017 with more data collection through a pre and post survey. Please see attachments.

Looking forwad to your results. This makes me wish I had a similar experience at the start of my college career!

Hi Olga, I am really looking forward to seeing the results of this.  Have you set up a reminder email for this CATS so that you it is automated to remind you in October 2017?
