Assessment of the Month
Comments
Wow. This is a great sample size. Is this something you are interested in doing again? If so, would you do anything different? Same? Thanks for sharing.
Yvette, This is a great learning opportunity for the ACE students. Thank you for incorporating the campaign so extensively with the students. This is an excellent example of engagement across different areas on campus! Smiles, Olga
This was impressive, Yvette. The data clearly shows that this was a successful event and that it should be repeated. I also like how you used the I Am Human campaign as your platform for bringing about change. Two questions: where did this idea come from, and will it be used again?
Excellent work Yvette. I look forward to seeing this repeated and scaled to other groups.
I am very glad to see these activities being assessed. Great job on the survey! In the future this activity could be enhanced by conducting a pre- activity and post-activity survey to determine how much the activity may have contributed to knowledge gains specific areas.

Rene, just wanted to share with you my comment to Yvette regarding this CATS:
"Congrats on CATS of the Month, Yvette! What a great project!
I concur with Rene about the Service Learning aspect of the project evidencing student learning. Genuine Service Learning is more than civic engagement or volunteerism or service. There must be the component that has students reflecting on their experience and then demonstrating in some way what they learned (that they would not have learned minus the experience). I am a purist in this area (it was the topic of my Doctoral dissertation).
Again. congrats!

Hi Yvette -
I'm relatively new to EMCC - and one of the things that really stuck out to me when I first arrived is seeing the "I am human" infographics posted all over campus. Your work here clearly converted the I AM HUMAN campaign into an actionable effort. Nice work - and thank you for pushing forward this important value of civil engagement!
Great job Yvette!
Yvette!
Great job closing the loop and assessing learning! Very impactful!
