Abstract

Assement: Early Childhood Education Lesson Plan on Creative and Cognitive Play incorproating components from all 6 Modules of the course. I want students to include and apply the following components within their lesson plan: ​1) Early Childhood Standards; 2) creative activities; 3) safetey considerations; 4) types of play; 5) creative art; 6) creative music and movement; and 7) materials and manipulatives using one of the provided lesson plan templates. I have helped them learn it through guided practice included detailed lesson plan reviews, readings, activities, discussion questions, and Adobe Connect sessions. Their learning will be measured on their completion and application of all components in their final lesson plan.

Lisa, you have truly scaffolded your students, thereby optimizing their chances of success at this! I also like the reference to the Hunter lesson plan model; good things endure! I look forward to your results. Do you have anything to compare your results to? That would definitely close the loop . . .

Hi Pete, in addition to the scoffolded activities in the prior weeks, the prior weeks' assignments each address portions of a lesson plan. I plan on working with students during our Adobe Connect sessions to address any concerns/challenges on those portions in order to fix/support these areas before the completion/submission of the final lesson plan in the last module. :-) Lisa
